Admin users in Portal3 have access to the Users page, where they can create and manage users across their organization.
Creating a New User
To create a new user:
- Click on "Users" in the left sidebar to see all users.
- Click the "New User" button, located to the right of the "User" title.
- Click the "User Name" field and type a username for the user.
- Click the "Email" field and enter an email address for the user. New users will receive their temporary login credentials via email, and will need to use the email address to log in to Portal3.
WARNING: User emails cannot be changed later. - Click the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields and enter the user's information.
- Click the "Password" field and enter a temporary password for the user.
- Click into the next field and re-enter the password.

[OPTIONAL] To make the user an admin, toggle the switch next to "Administrator Right". -
[OPTIONAL] To give the user a role, click into the "Role" dropdown, and select an option from the list. - Click into the "Workspace Access" dropdown and check all the Workspaces that the user should have access to. By default, the user will have access to the Workspace in which they are created plus any existing member Workspaces.
- Click "Create & Save".
Editing a User
To edit user details:
- Click on "Users" in the left sidebar to see all users.
- Click on the target user to open the user drawer.
- Edit details as needed. Details will be saved automatically.
- Click anywhere outside of the drawer to close it.
Changing Workspace Access
To change what Workspaces the user has access to:
- Click on "Users" in the left sidebar to see all users.
- Click on the target user to open the user drawer.
- Click the "Manage Access" button in the top-right corner of the drawer.
- Click on the "Workspace Access" dropdown and check the boxes next to the Workspaces the user should have access to. To remove access, uncheck the Workspaces.
- Click "Save" to update the user's access.
- Click anywhere outside of the drawer to close it.
Deactivating a User
To deactivate a user:
- Click on "Users" in the left sidebar to see all users.
- Click on the target user to open the user drawer.
- Locate the "Active" field and toggle the switch off.
- Click anywhere outside of the drawer to close it.
Deleting a User
To delete a user:
- Click on "Users" in the left sidebar to see all users.
- Click the
icon in the user list for the target user.
- Click "Confirm" to delete the user.
