Creating a Project

NOTE: You must select a Workspace prior to creating a project. As of Version 3.22, only content that is uploaded directly to the selected Workspace can be added to the project. A project can only be edited from the Workspace it was created in, and can be shared to member Workspaces (i.e., Workspace that are nested below a Workspace in the Workspace hierarchy). There are two (2) ways to create a project:

 

Creating a Project From the Projects Page

To create a project from the Projects page:

  1. Select the Workspace where the project should be created using the Workspace selector.
  2. Click on "Projects" in the left sidebar to see your playlist library.
  3. Click the "Create New Project" button, located to the right of the "Projects" title.
  4. Click into the 'Project name' field and enter a name for the project.
  5. Click "Create" to save the project. 

Adding content to a new project

You can add existing content to a project or upload new assets directly to the project.

To upload new assets to the project:

  1. From the Projects page, click the icon in the projects table for the target project.
  2. Click the black "Upload" button, located on the right side of the screen.
  3. Select the files you want to upload using your local file explorer.

To add content from your content library:

  1. Click on "Assets" in the left sidebar to see your assets library. Or, click on "Playlists" to see your playlist library. 
  2. Tick the checkboxes for the target assets or playlists you want to add to the project.
  3. Click the "Actions" button, located on the right side of the screen.
  4. Click "Add to project".
  5. Click to select the project. 

 

Creating a Project From the Assets or Playlists page

To create a project from the Assets or Playlists page:

  1. Select the Workspace where the project should be created using the Workspace selector.
  2. Click on "Assets" in the left sidebar to see your asset library. Or, click on "Playlists" to see your playlist library. 
  3. Tick the checkboxes for the target assets or playlists you want to add to the project.
  4. Click the "Actions" button, located on the right side of the screen.
  5. Click "Add to project".
  6. Click "Create new project".
  7. Click into the 'Project name' field and enter a name for the project.
  8. Click "Create Project".
