Overview

Version 3.18 introduces the Metadata page and a new Custom Metadata feature. This update marks a significant step in Videri’s commitment to building a digital signage management experience that makes workflow automation and customization dead easy for our users.

New Features

The Metadata Page

The new Metadata page allows all users to:

• View system-generated metadata for various objects in Portal3.
• Review data attributed to Canvases, content, Schedules, Projects, users, and Workspaces.

Custom Metadata

Admin users now have the ability to:

• Create custom metadata fields.
• Assign these fields to Canvases, content, Schedules, Projects, users, and Workspaces.
• Define fields to accept strings, integers, dates, Booleans, or pre-defined lists.
• Set fields as required, ensuring other users assign values when creating relevant objects.
• Utilize custom metadata for creating personalized workflows unique to their organization.
• Leverage metadata to better organize and navigate object libraries.
