Overview

With the launch of Videri's Spark2 LTE Canvas, users can now provision applicable Canvases using a cellular network. This release also includes improvements to Orchestration Studio, as well as numerous user-driven bug fixes, feature improvements, and under-the-hood optimizations to improve overall functionality and user experience.

Highlights

• Provisioning & Management of Canvases with Cellular Capabilities: Our latest Canvas comes with cellular capabilities, enabling users to provision and manage the Canvas using a cellular network. 
• Wall Creation & Management Improvements: We have added some features to Orchestration Studio and refined Wall statuses to better support how users create and manage Walls.
• Workspace Searching: Users can now search for Workspaces for a more efficient browsing experience.
• Bug Fixes & General QoL Updates: We have resolved several bugs and made some other minor quality-of-life improvements.

New Features

Cellular Network Management & Changes to Canvas Management

We're excited to introduce our first Canvas with cellular capabilities: Videri's Spark2 LTE Digital Canvas! Users with a Spark2 LTE Canvas can now configure their LTE connection and APN settings during Canvas provisioning or at any time afterward using Portal3.

To accommodate the new capabilities, the "Systems Monitoring" tab of the Canvas Advanced Settings pages has been split into the "Network" and "Monitoring" tabs, offering better organization and control for Canvases with multiple connection options:

• To review a Canvas' network health or update connection settings, use the "Network" tab.
• To review other Canvas health metrics, use the "Monitoring" tab. 

We have also deployed a new version of the Videri Mobile app and Canvas firmware to ensure a seamless management experience for Canvases with cellular capabilities.

Orchestration Studio

New features in Orchestration Studio make Wall creation more efficient: 

• Enhanced Canvas Visibility: Users can now easily view which Canvases are assigned and identify unassigned placeholders while managing Walls.
• Keyboard Shortcut Guide: A new tooltip in the top-right corner provides a summary of all available keyboard shortcuts, streamlining workflows for power users.

Feedback-Driven Improvements & Enhancements

We’ve implemented several changes based on valuable user feedback:

• Workspace Search: Users with multiple Workspaces can now use a search feature in the Workspace selector for faster navigation.
• Unified Wall Status: The "Layout" and "Incomplete" statuses have been merged into a single "Draft" status for simpler Wall management.
• Network Browsing Improvements: Within the network tab, available SSIDs are now sorted alphabetically, making it easier to locate specific networks.
