The following updates were made to Portal3 the week of October 14th:
Devices & Walls
Workspace name is now correctly reflected for Walls when renaming a Workspace.
Removing events from a Wall now instantly removes them from individual devices without needing to refresh.
Device Advanced Settings now display custom resolution options.
Brightness schedules can now be managed more efficiently through batch settings.
Assets, Playlists, & Projects
Improved reliability of project unsharing.
Empty playlists no longer display confusing “all/undefined” labels.
Uploading video assets no longer creates duplicates when switching pages.
Batch assets can now be unshared even when shared through different methods.
Playlist metadata searches now work correctly with all operators.
Campaigns
Campaign video events now display the correct icons for easier recognition.
Fixed an issue that was causing devices to be unexpectedly unselected when switching Workspace during filtering.
Events & Scheduling
Fixed an issue that was causing only the first device to show up when editing positioning for an orchestrated event.
Fixed an issue that was preventing event thumbnails from updating correctly after asset swap.
Editing and saving draft Wall events no longer causes errors.
Event creation now validates start/end times and recurrence settings to prevent mistakes.
Reordering events in Walls with a single device is now stable.
Users & Workspaces
Users and Workspaces can now be searched by UUID for easier browsing and navigation.
Workspace side drawer now consistently shows “Created by” information.
Workspace access information is now correctly fetched when selecting a Workspace.
Publisher & Performance
Backend reliability improved with better Redis connection recovery.
Code improvements ensure stronger system testing and stability.
General UX Improvements
Key Portal components have been updated for better maintainability.
Security compliance updated with the latest information.
