Welcome to Videri Ignite. In this guide, we cover:
|
Before You Start
You'll need:
Videri Ignite installed on your phone (iPhone or Android).
Credentials for a Videri account. These are the same username and password as those used for Portal3.
If you are a first-time user, you will receive an invitation email from your Videri administrator. Your username will be the email address that received the invitation and your password will be noted in the email. You'll be able to update your password from the app directly when you sign in for the first time.
If you don't have an invitation yet, contact your administrator before continuing.
Logging In
- Tap the Videri icon to launch the app. You'll briefly see a splash screen with the Videri logo while the app loads.
- On the Sign in screen, enter the email address associated with your Videri account.
Tap "Continue".
Enter your password.
NOTE: If you forgot your password, tap "Forgot password". The app will send a verification code to your email. NOTE: If you're setting a password for the first time, you will be prompted to create a new password. The new password requires a minimum of 8 characters with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one special character.
💡 Tip: Your email address is not case-sensitive, but your password is. Watch out for caps lock.
Tap "Sign in".
NOTE: If you are a member of multiple tenants, you will be prompted to select a tenant upon signing in.
The Home Screen
You'll land on the the Home Screen each time you sign-in. From here, you can change your Workspace context, get a quick overview of alert statues, and access profile settings.
| 1 | This is your current Workspace context. When you first-sign in, you will be placed in "All Workspaces" context, unless you only have access to one Workspace. On subsequent logins, you'll be placed in whatever Workspace you last accessed. |
| 2 | The first initial of the current Workspace context will always be visible in the first slot of the bottom navigation bar, even when accessing other screens. If you're in "All Workspaces" context, you'll see "AW" instead. |
| 3 | To change your Workspace context, tap the search icon. If you're on a different screen, you'll first need to navigate back to the Home Screen to switch Workspaces. |
| 4 | An overview of current alert status can be found here. If there are any active alerts, you can tap on the yellow card to automatically go to the Alerts Screen. |
| 5 | You can also see if you have any alerts by looking at the last icon in the bottom navigation bar. If there are any active alerts, a badge will show with the number of items needing attention. |
Permissions In Videri Ignite
The first time you sign in—and the first time you initiate certain tasks—the app will ask permission for a few things. Granting these lets the app work the way it's intended. You can decline any permission and still use the app, but some features may be limited. The chart below details the permissions required for full use of Videri Ignite:
