About Workspaces
A “Workspace” is a group of interrelated Canvases, content, and users. Your organization may have a single Workspace or many. The number of Workspaces you have access to is determined by your administrator.
All users can see all the Canvases, Walls, and content in a Workspace. When in “All Workspaces” context, you can see all the Canvases, Walls, and content across all the Workspaces you have access to.
Admin users will also see users, a list of Workspaces, and Alerts for the Workspace. Admins are able to create, manage, and delete Workspaces. To learn more about administrative functions, see [Administration].
Canvases can only belong to a single Workspace at a time. You will only see Canvases that belong to the selected Workspace unless you are in “All Workspaces” context.
Selecting a Workspace
In order to upload content, you’ll need to be in a specific Workspace. To select a Workspace:
- Click to expand the Workspace navigator in the top navbar.
- Select the Workspace you want to work in. To see member Workspaces that might be hidden, click the (+) icon next to a Workspace.
- Click Select Workspace to confirm your selection and close the Workspace navigator.
Confirming you’re in the right place
You can confirm your Workspace selection at any time by looking at the top navbar. In the below image, the user is in the “Chicago Store #3224” Workspace.
