Enabling Reprovisioning

For security purposes, BLE broadcasting is disabled 10 minutes after a device is provisioned and has been online. When BLE broadcasting is disabled, the device will not show up in the Videri Mobile App. To reprovision a device, you will need to enable BLE broadcasting.

 

Enabling BLE Broadcasting

To enable BLE broadcasting:

  1. Click on "Devices" in the left sidebar to see your list of devices.
  2. Click on the target device to open the device drawer.
  3. Click the "Advanced Settings" button in the top right corner of the device drawer.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Device reprovisioning' section.
  5. Click on the toggle next to 'Allow reprovisioning' so that it reads "Enabled".
