Videri Portal3 allows for scheduling of the following content:
- Images, videos, and apps—”assets”, collectively;
- URLs; and,
- playlists.
There are three ways to schedule content:

Scheduling Assets from the Assets Page
You can schedule a single asset or schedule multiple assets simultaneously.
Scheduling a single asset
A single asset can be scheduled to one or more Canvases or Walls simultaneously. To schedule a single asset:
- Click on “Assets” in the left sidebar to see your asset library.
- Click on the target asset to open the asset drawer.
- Click the “Schedule” button in the top right corner of the drawer.

On the left side, configure event details as needed:
NOTE: By default, images and apps that are scheduled to Canvases will have a per-pass duration of 15 seconds. In other words, these items will play for 15 seconds each time they are passed in the schedule. Videos will have a default duration equal to the full length of the video. However, you can modify the play duration of an item, if needed.
NOTE: By default, content will be added to the schedule starting on the day it is scheduled and will run without expiration. However, you can specify a start date and time, and an expiration date and time. Content will only be played by Canvases during this time period. -
To change the per-pass duration of the event, click into the ‘Duration’ field and input a new duration.

To change the start date and time of the event, enter a new date and time in the ‘Schedule between’ field.

To change the end date and time of the event, enter a new date and time in the ‘and’ field.

On the right side, select the target Canvas(es) or Wall(s).

Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Scheduling assets in batch
To schedule assets in batch:
- Click on “Assets” in the left sidebar to see your asset library.
- Tick checkboxes for the target assets you wish to schedule.
- Click the “Actions” button, located on the right side of the screen under the search bar.
- Click “Schedule”.

On the left side, configure event details as needed:
NOTE: By default, any event details that are modified will apply to all assets. To apply details to only one asset, select it in the top section of the screen. NOTE: By default, images and apps that are scheduled to Canvases will have a per-pass duration of 15 seconds. NOTE: By default, content will be added to the schedule in the order it was selected. However, you can reorder content if needed. To define the order of content on a schedule: - Scroll down to the ‘Preview content’ section.
- Use the
icon to the left of each item to drag it into a new position.

Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Scheduling Playlists from the Playlists Page
You can schedule a single playlist or schedule multiple playlists simultaneously.
Scheduling a single playlist
You can schedule a single playlist to one or more Canvases or Walls simultaneously. To schedule a single playlist:
- Click on “Playlist” in the left sidebar to see your available playlists.
- Click on the target playlist to open the playlist drawer.
- Click the “Schedule” button in the top right corner of the drawer.

On the left side, configure event details as needed:
NOTE: By default, playlists that are scheduled to Canvases will play fully. In other words, all items in the playlist will be shown each time it is passed in the schedule. However, you can modify the items per pass, if needed.

To change the items per pass, click into the ‘Items per pass’ field and input a new value.

Scheduling playlists in batch
To schedule playlists in batch:
- Click on “Playlists” in the left sidebar to see your playlist library.
- Tick checkboxes for the target playlists you wish to schedule.
- Click the “Actions” button, located on the right side of the screen under the search bar.
- Click “Schedule”.

Scheduling Content from the Schedule Page
There are 3 ways to schedule content from the Schedule page:
- Creating a new event without selecting hardware first.
- Creating a new event for all visible devices on the screen.
- Creating a new event for only one of the visible devices on the screen.
Schedule content without selecting hardware
To schedule content without first selecting hardware:
- Click “Schedule” in the left sidebar to navigate to the Schedule page.
- Click the “New Event” button, located to the right of the “Schedule” title.
- Select the target asset(s) or playlist(s) for scheduling and click the “Add” button.
- Configure event details and select the target Canvas(es) or Wall(s). For guidance, see Scheduling Assets from the Assets Page or Scheduling Playlists from the Playlists Page above.
- Reorder content in the ‘Preview content’ section, if needed. For guidance, see Scheduling assets in batch or Scheduling playlists in batch above.
- Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Schedule content for all visible schedules
To schedule content for all selected hardware:
- Click “Schedule” in the left sidebar to navigate to the Schedule page.
- Click the “Hardware Selection” button, located to the right of the “Schedule” title.
- Select a Canvas or Wall to view it’s schedule. You can select multiple Canvases.
- Click the “Add” button in the lower right corner of the screen to close the hardware selector.
- Click the “New Event” button, located to the right of the “Schedule” title.
- Select the target assets or playlists for scheduling and click the “Add” button.
- Configure event details and reorder content, if needed. For guidance, see Scheduling assets in batch or Scheduling playlists in batch above.
- Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Schedule content to a single Canvas
To schedule content to one of multiple visible schedules on the Schedule page:
- For the target device, click the + button in the lower right-hand corner of the schedule.
- Select the target assets or playlists for scheduling and click the “Add” button.
- Configure event details and reorder content, if required. For guidance, see Scheduling assets in batch or Scheduling playlists in batch above.
- Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Scheduling Content from a Project
To schedule content from a project:
- Click on "Projects" in the left sidebar to see your project library.
- Click on the target project to open the project drawer.
- Locate the asset or playlist you wish to schedule.
- Click the
icon for the target asset or playlist.
- On the left side of the screen, configure event details as need. For guidance, see Scheduling a single asset or Scheduling a single playlist above.

On the right side of the screen, select the target Canvas(es) or Wall(s).

Click the “Save & Publish” button in the top right corner of the screen.
