Scheduling Content to Multi-Output Devices

Content can be scheduled to multi-output devices using the same general workflows as standard, single-output devices. 

If a multi-output device is operating in Mirrored mode, its outputs cannot have separate content schedules. Content scheduled to the device is mirrored across all outputs. When a multi-output device is operating in Independent mode, however, each output can be selected as an individual scheduling target.

Viewing The Schedule For A Specific Output

You can view individual output schedules for a multi-output device in the same way you would view the schedule of a standard, single-output device. 

To view device schedule(s) from the device drawer:

1. Click "Devices" in the left sidebar to navigate to the Devices page.
2. Click the target device to open the device drawer. If the device is in Independent mode, the schedules for each output will be shown. If the device is in Mirrored mode, only one schedule will be shown.

To view device schedule(s) from the Schedule page:

1. Click "Schedule" in the left sidebar to navigate to the Schedule page.
2. Click the "Select Hardware" button located in the top-right of the screen.
3. Click the down arrow next to the target device name to to view its individual outputs.
4. Click the checkbox in the target output's row to select it. The selected output will appear separately on the Schedule page. You can select multiple outputs to view and compare their schedules.
5. Click anywhere outside the hardware selection panel when finished selecting targets.

Scheduling Content To A Specific Output

To schedule content to a specific output, follow the standard scheduling workflow described in Scheduling Content. Then, when selecting target hardware:

1. Locate the target multi-output device.
2. Click the down arrow next to the target device name to to view its individual outputs.
3. Click the checkbox in the target output's row to select it.
4. Click "Save & Schedule" in the top-right corner of the page when finished configuring the event.

Content will be added only to the schedules of the selected outputs.

Assigning An Output To A Campaign

Individual outputs can also be assigned to campaigns when a multi-output device is operating in Independent mode. 

To assign a specific output to a campaign, follow the standard creation or editing workflow described in Working With Campaigns. Then, when selecting target hardware:

1. Locate the target multi-output device.
2. Click the down arrow next to the target device to to view its individual outputs.
3. Select the target output.
4. Click "Save & Schedule" in the top-right corner of the page when finished.

Campaign content will be added to the schedules of the selected outputs.
