In Portal3, assets can be combined into another content type called a "playlist". A playlist consists of several assets, each with their own duration, and can be scheduled to a Canvas or Wall as a single event. You can view your playlist library on the Playlists page. To access the Playlists page, click “Playlists” in the left sidebar. |
Browsing Your Playlist Library
- Click "Playlists" in the left sidebar to view your playlist library.
- Use the Workspace selector to filter for playlists in a specific Workspace.
- To search for playlists, use the search bar located in the upper right corner of the page.
Choose the Best View For You
Playlists can be viewed in your library using "grid view" or "list view". To see large thumbnails of your playlists, select grid view. To see more information about all of your playlists simultaneously, select list view. To change the configuration of your playlist library, click on the appropriate icon under the "Playlists" title, as shown here: |
Configuring list view
You can configure the columns of your playlist list view to best meet your needs. To configure the playlist list view:
- Click "Playlists" in the left sidebar to view your playlist library.
- Click the ... icon in the top right corner of the table.
- To hide a column, toggle the switch off.
- To show a column, toggle the switch on.
- To reorder columns, hold and drag a column.
- To save the new configuration, click "Ok".
NOTE: List view configurations will persist for your user on subsequent logins and when switching to different Workspaces. List view configurations will not change for other members of the Workspace. |

To filter your playlists:
- Click on the filter icon under the "Playlists" title.
- To see the full list of available filters, click on "Advanced Filters".
- Select which filters to apply.
- Click "Apply Filters".
Conditional filtering
As of Version 3.22, a single "AND" or "OR" condition can be used when filtering for assets. To apply a conditional filter:
- Click on the filter icon under the "Playlists" title.
- Click "Conditional Filtering".
- Select the condition in the first dropdown.
- Select the filter and values in their respective dropdowns.
- To add a condition, click on the + icon.
- Once you've selected all applicable filters and conditions, click "Apply Filters".
Removing applied filters
When filters are applied, they will be displayed in blue under the "Assets" title. To remove applied filters, click the blue X icon next to the filters, as shown in the image below:
